Upon arrival we were whisked away to a luxurious and relaxing holiday. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations, the quality of all the finishes were exceptional. We enjoyed nothing more than a leisurely soak in the hot tub at the end of the day to soothe our aching feet before retiring for the night in the most comfortable bed for an amazing nights slumber, to wake up, opening our bedroom curtains onto a 13th century monastery, wonderful. Caroline was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t stay another week.

The Apartment is exactly what we were hoping for, very comfortable and well presented to a very high standard. The garden is wonderfully cared for along with the main house and gardens oozing with character and history. The wood fired hot tub is efficient and easy to use. Access to the South coast line and beaches is all within easy reach. In fact you can see the sea from the Apartment.

We have just returned from a fabulous week’s stay at Eagles Nest at Greyfriars. Caroline and her family were so lovely and welcoming and the accommodation was stunning. Both the Eagles nest and Herons Wood cottages have been recently renovated, totally in keeping with the style and period of the main house, Greyfriars. The bed was superb, super king size, and so comfortable. We had our spaniel with us and most of the beaches have at least a portion of the beach open to dogs year round.

Heron’s Wood cottage was excellent in all ways and our hosts took great care to ensure we had all we needed. The renovation is exquisite and true to the history of the site yet totally comfortable. We would highly recommend! Our family of 3 and dog loved our stay.

Well what can you say about this place – Stunning! The owner goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Eagles Nest itself is amazing and is decorated and fitted out to such a high standard – the highest standard I have ever seen. Loved the goats, duck and the dog! We shall be returning!
